The Donut Brief was founded by a Marine Corps veteran who served from 2008 to 2012, and a former Prince George's County Police officer who spent 12 years — from 2013 to 2025 — serving and protecting one of Maryland's most demanding jurisdictions. Two decades of discipline, service, and accountability don't retire when the uniform comes off.
What started as a passion for fresh, made-to-order donuts became a fully mobile operation built to serve the Summers Corner community and the greater Charleston area. The same attention to detail that kept people safe now goes into every donut we make.
We don't do stale. We don't do pre-made. Every donut is made fresh to order using our automated donut robot system — a hot-and-fresh experience you simply can't get at a retail chain. You order it, we make it, you eat it warm.
